8 Reasons Why You Should Consider Dropservicing Today

Shalom Solomon

The drop servicing business model is a spin off of dropshipping and outsourcing where you (the seller), sell and market the services a third party as your product.
So, why should you consider drop servicing as a good business opportunity? What benefits does dropservicing have over drop shipping?
We'd be answering these questions in eight points below.

The Benefits of Drop Servicing

1. It Generates Profit
This, dear reader is the major, most importannt benefit of any business venture. Yes, drop servicing generates high profit with minimum effort on your part as the seller. Basically, you're just a mediator between the client and the service provider.

2. It Does Not Require Special Skills

Drop Servicing like dropshipping does not really require any special skill, training or certification. Although it is best practice to have at least a basic understanding of whatever niche of service you're offering, you can still wing it without any training in the field. For instance, you do not have to be a web developer to dropservice web development as your product.

3. You Don't Have Employees on a Payroll

Are you worried about paying the service providers every month? Well, that isn't a problem with drop servicing, you do not have employees; infact, you can switch up workers as often as you want. Your deal with a service provider ends when the service is provided and payment is made.
You can only keep the service provider on stand by if you like the quality of services he/she provides but, you don't pay every month.

4. You Can Work From Anywhere

Since drop servicing is an e-commerce business model, it does not require a physical location unlike brick and mortar business model. Your office or operational base is your business website. So, all you need to run a drop servicing business is a smartphone or laptop, your eCommerce website or platform and good internet connectivity.

5. Requires Little Effort

If done properly, dropservicing requires very little effort on your side as the middleman. This is especially true if you have a good network of service providers and if you market your business well. Sourcing for customers is the only strain you put yourself through. You don't do the hardwork, your service providers who remain in the background, do and you can get all the accolades for a job well done.

6. Little Competition

Drop servicing unlike Dropshipping is still relatively new and the market isn't as densely populated as dropshipping. Ergo, there is very little competition, so you have room to establish yourself in any niche you choose.

7. Requires Little Startup Capital

Drop Servicing requires very little to start up and run.  You don't have a physical location so no rent or no need to buy a location. You don't have to pay workers at the end of every month. No buying and stocking of work materials like computers, stationaries, furniture, etc. The service provider would sort his/herself out.

8. There are No Extra Expenses

Shipping and sometimes taxes are some of the expenses of dropshipping, and after the seller removes these from his/her profit, precious little is left.
This is not the case with dropservicing as a majority of not all of the services offered can be transfered or transported on the internet. That means you do not have extra expenses like transportation and delivery to pay for. Your profit is your profit, no shipping costs or taxation to reduce your earnings.

Conclusion

Other benefits of dropservicing is that it increases productivity and has minimal workload for both the seller and freelancer. The freelancer does not have to worry about sourcing for clients and the seller doesn't go through the stress of actually doing any work.
With all the above benefits listed out, it is very clear that dropservicing is a great business opportunity if you want to work online.  And the best part is it is highly profitable and requires very little effort.
If you are looking to start an online business, consider dropservicing.
Good luck...
